CHRISTINE CLARK – Master Pastellist

Christine has grown up with a passion for art, and drawing and has been painting, exhibiting and selling her work for over 35 years.

Christine is a multi-award winning artist, represented in many private and corporate collections throughout Australia, New Zealand, England, and Japan as well as being in the collection of our Ex Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, John Anderson.

She has painted in many mediums but regards pastel as her favourite, loving the soft luscious strokes, texture and vibrant colours.

Living on the Sunshine Cost in Queensland with her family for the past 20 years, Christine has been inspired by a variety of subjects, figures, portraits, seascapes, flowers and animals. Her paintings capture precious moments in everyday life that tell a story, appealing to a wide audience and hence her work is very popular.

Christine has won many awards and in July 2007 Christine was awarded Master Pastelllist status from The Pastel Society of Australia and recently the prestigious Pastellist of the Year Award for 2012 by the Pastel Society of Australia.  Examples of her work have also appeared in the Australian Artist Magazine. Christine is a full time professional artist, exhibiting her work in Gallery Beneath, Mooloolaba, Art Nuvo, Buderim and Raw Art, at Sheraton Resort, Noosa and is a sought -after tutor for classes and workshops in pastel.
