Gallery Beneath is the Sunshine Coasts premier fine art gallery, renowned for presenting quality paintings from established and emerging Australian artists.

We coordinate an exciting annual program of exhibitions, and are continually showcasing new works and introducing fresh talent from around the country. Our large floor area allows us to offer a wonderful variety for your enjoyment.

Certificate of valuation

For all major acquisitions we provide you with our “Certificate of Acquisition & Authenticity” when you purchase the artwork.

Commissions

Over the last decade there has been a marked increase in the demand for commissioned portraits. An original painting provides a memorable experience that a photograph can never provide. A portrait provides a unique physical and psychological reflection of the sitter and provides a distinctive family or corporate heirloom. Gallery Beneath has formalised its portraiture service. This service is available upon request to assist in matching a prospective portraiture client with the artist who best suits the particular style of painting they desire. We liase closely with the client and the artist to ensure the right outcome. Gallery Beneath welcomes enquiries regarding our portraiture service.

We provide a full framing service for any paintings you may wish to have framed or re-framed.

Gift Certificates

If you have a special friend and wish to give them artwork as a gift for a special occasion please ask us about our gift certificates.

In home or office assessment

If you live or work on the Sunshine Coast, by special arrangement, we are happy to arrange to bring your selection to you or provide overnight for approval. Ask us about that service too.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS

If you live anywhere outside Australia you have two advantages in your favour. Many of our artists are sold by galleries overseas at higher prices. It is often an advantage to buy direct from us and take advantage of our cost price delivery and also save 10% of the purchase price because our GST does not apply to export sales.

Lay-by Terms

We are happy to provide our LAY-BY payment service for your purchases- usually on a 25% deposit with the balance payable within 3 months of purchase. Note that conditions do apply.

Purchase & Delivery

We accept all major credit cards for prompt settlement AND we can arrange safe delivery to anywhere in Australia OR overseas. (A “Cost Only” delivery fee applies.) Remember- acquisitions that are “exported” out of Australia are FREE of our Australian G.S.T. (Goods & Services Tax- usually 10% where applicable).

Special occasions - Wedding register

Fine art is a great choice as gifts for a wedding or similar special occasion. We can establish a Bridal Registry for the lucky couple and assist their guests to select individual gifts or combine their funds into one or more major acquisitions.

Tax Invoices

We are registered for GST (Goods and Services Tax) and so are MOST of our artists. When acquiring works that do include GST we are happy to provide a tax invoice to buyers who are also similarly GST registered.
