Jean Parker

My birthplace was in the UK and my younger years were spent growing up in the southeast area of England. I have travelled extensively in Europe and America before settling in South Africa for a time. I eventually came to Australia where I have been settled these last 35 years.
I have been painting in Watercolor for the past 20 years and sometimes mixed media. Also I enjoy acrylic and pastel for different subjects. I have won awards in all these mediums.

I like to believe my watercolour’s are vibrant and happy with lots of colour. My work has been displayed in various galleries and at various art shows; I have displayed and sold at the Brisbane Exhibition and Gympie Gold Rush Exhibition, Nambour Show, Noosa show and Maleny Art Show. I have completed commissions across the subjects I like. Birds and animals, also poppies and flowers in European settings.
