PAT HALL

Pat graduated in 1985 with a BA Hons in Graphic Design from Brighton University in England. After immigrating to Australia in 1985 she worked as an illustrator for Sheldrake Creative until taking up full time painting in 1997.

Pat has developed a new technique for displaying watercolours - stretching paper canvases over a timber frame before flooding them with colour and then sealing them in a UV stabilised and waterproof coating. The images remain vibrant and accessible without being hidden behind glass; breathing new life into the medium.
